On February 14, 2013, workers at the Phyllis L. Susser School of Birch Family Services, voted overwhelmingly (98%) in favor of union representation. The final official tally was 58-1 in favor of unionization. "United Staff of Birch Family Services," now a chapter of the United Federation of Teachers/NYSUT/AFT, is currently negotiating its first contract with Birch management. |
